Sarcoidosis patient since 1993 with several organ involvements and engaged in the sarcoidosis patient association (Deutsche Sarkoidose-Vereinigung DSV e.V.) in Germany and Europe since 1993 as volunteer.
Patient representative in the German health care system since 2004 in Joint Federal Committee and HTA body (concerning fast access procedure, quality measurement and out-patient care) as well as patient representative at COMP for sarcoidosis and fibrosis.
