ERS ANNUAL CONGRESS BARCELONA 2010

Presentations of members of the ild care team, supported by the ild care foundation.

On Sunday September the 19th Petal Wijnen presented her poster entitled: ‘Association of diffuse alveolar hemorrhage with VKORC1, CYP2C9, and CYP2C19 polymorphisms ’ in the thematic poster session: ‘Rare lung diseases’. This session was organised by the Scientific Group on diffuse parenchymal lung disease 1.5 of the ERS.

The chairs of this session were: Prof. dr. J-F. Cordier (Lyon, France, left) and prof. dr. T. Peros Golubicic (Zagreb, Croatia, right).

Prof. dr. Philippe Camus also visited the poster of Petal Wijnen. He is the founder of the very helpful website www.pneumotox.com were you can find drug-induced pulmonary reactions and side effects of various drugs.

On Sunday September the 19th Rik Marcellis presented his poster entitled:

Exercise intolerance, muscle strength impairment and fatigue in sarcoidosis patients ’ in the thematic poster session: ‘Sarcoidosis: from the bench to the bedside’. This session was organised by the Scientific Group on diffuse parenchymal lung disease 1.5 of the ERS.

The chairs of this session were dr. A. Morais (Maia, Portugal) and dr. A. Gogali (Ioannina, Greece).

 

 

On Monday September Rémy Mostard gave an oral presentation entitled: ‘ F18 FDG-PET/CT findings and inflammation parameters in sarcoidosis ’ in oral presentation session ‘Sarcoidosis: genes and mechanisms’. This session was organised by the Scientific Group on Diffuse parenchymal lung disease 1.5 of the ERS. The chairs were prof. dr. J. Muller-Quernheim (Freiburg, Germany) and prof. dr. J. Grünewald (Stockholm, Sweden, current secretary of the WASOG).
